The TWO BEARS Dog Training Mission

We all want our dogs to be mannerly and obedient. This reflects the dog’s self control and the control the dog accepts from us. A dog who has self-control and is attentive to the handler obeys all commands and can be taken into public without apprehension. Sometimes the desire for control and reliability, the preservation of "drive," as well as a deep bonded relationship come into conflict.

It is our mission at TWO BEARS Dog Training to help you and your best friend create a relationship without conflict. At the core of all our dog training and obedience programs is our belief that the pet or sport dog owner need not sacrifice a positive relationship and “drive” when striving for more reliable control. The more reliable your dog’s obedience, the more freedom he can earn, the more drive he can experience. Freedom, balanced with control, becomes the foundation in a relationship of value to the dog and owner. Competitive Events

For those of you interested in competition agility, fly ball, Frisbee, obedience, tracking, Schutzhund, IPO, Ring, PSA, let us help you build the foundation of self-control, focus, integrity to task and problem solving techniques, which will help you excel at the highest levels. We do not believe reliability and precision can only be achieved at the expense of spirit and drive. For those of you already competing, let us help you take your dog to the next level.

Got Puppy?

The most important time in a dog's development is when they are a puppy. The best time to teach them the beahiors you want them to have when they are an adult is before they are 6 months old. You the handler need to be taught .....something.... and need to teach your dog how to learn. For those of you with new puppies, starting your puppy correctly is our specialty. Our puppy training classes are not the normal mini-obedience classes that you may be used to. We utilize positive dog training techniques to set the foundation for real self-control and social behavior that most dog owners only dream of. Our course content can include house or "potty" training, crate training and even dog barking and biting control. How you begin with your pup is an essential first step to a lifetime of pride and enjoyment of your pet.
